The old setup using foam filters
My original setup for the intake system had 2 UNI foam filters attatched to each side of the manifold..
This concerned me as the foam filters was oiled and being so close to the injectors could potentially catch fire.
Hot Air is not good
They were also mounted high in the engine bay and were pulling in some very hot air, so I needed to rethink how to fix this problem.
New 2.5" Intercooler 22" x 10" setup
To get the cool fresh air from the from of the front of the IQ I decided to use a small Turbo Intercooler.
